  4. 1pm Tuesday 8/11 not able to get in after walking from home(difficult as recovering from surgery). Am not happy as had stuff to plant. Are we to be told the combination to the new lock? I agree with "anonymous" above, why can't we have a proper lock? Or even the combination for the "new" one. susan connor plot 6a

Further to previous post. If there is not enough money for a NEW lock with keys, could we be told. I am angry at having to walk back home when it was such an effort to walk to Knapmill in the first place, and I need to plant the rhubarb I've been given before it dies.If we can't get in why are we paying rent. What happens tomorrow?

  6. A new lock has been purchased for the main gate. Keys will be available from Lynn on Saturday (12 Nov) morning or Denny on Sunday. If anyone doesn't collect their key oover the week-end, it will be posted to them.
    Thanks

  7. Until the new lock goes on the gate and plot holders have received their keys, the gate is, and has been, unlocked. The brass lock on the chain at the moment is for appearances only. If you pull at it, it opens.
    Thanks

  8. It anyone has any cleavers (otherwise known as sticky willie or goosegrass) growing either on their plot or garden please can you let me have it as I need as much of this as possible fresh for medicinal purposes. ONLY IF IT HASN'T BEEN TREATED WITH CHEMICALS OR WEEDKILLERS PLEASE. Just email me or post notice. Much appreciated in advance. Oh by the way if you have fruit trees this is a good time to spray them with neem oil to keep the bugs and diseases under control. Good gardening. Allyson

  9. I would be interested in having some manure from Ronver stables (as per Allyson's email). Would be happy to contribute to cost of having it delivered. Kathy Jones

  10. would it be possible to use the strimmer for my paths if I bring some petrol? I'm spending more time keeping them under control than on anything else and have to wait til winter to sort them properly.
I know we used to be able to use it but now we don't have keys.
    Any help?
