We are planning to
have stalls at Brockley and Blythe Hill fairs in the summer to raise money for
further projects at the site
If each of us was
able to prepare / donate just one item to sell, this would really
make a huge difference - it has been suggested that if several people could
each make up a hanging basket or window-box, for example, (the various
pound shops often have hanging baskets etc for sale very cheaply) we could
sell them on for a good price as these seem to be in demand at plant
sales.
If we all support
this effort, with either a donation of a plant and/or helping on the stall at
the fair, it'll be a great success!
The communal area,
toilet and now poly-tunnel are a testament to what we can
achieve when we work together......

Just a quick pointer, if you go inside and close the door behind you remember to bring the white cord attached to the latch inside the poly-tunnel; there is a screw on the inside of the door frame to attach the end loop to. The cord allows the latch to be operated from the inside.
